With scripts on, this planner splits an amount into hourly slices and checks the stop time against the floor hours: Sunday to Thursday to 2 AM, Friday and Saturday to 4 AM.
A limit set before leaving
Decide the amount to spend and the time to leave at home, and enter both in the planner. Leave the bank card in the car as well, since the casino has bank machines on site. On the floor, closing comes at 2 AM Sunday through Thursday; Friday and Saturday it is 4 AM. No holiday schedule is published, so phone the casino before a holiday visit. Those closing times run later than most people plan to stay, so the end time should come from the plan, not the clock.

Taking a break
OLG's program of self-exclusion from Ontario casinos is called My PlayBreak. A casino break lasts 3 months or 6 months; a longer break runs 1 to 5 years. For that whole period, no Ontario casino admits the person, and the break cannot end early. A person can enrol by phoning the OLG Support Centre line, 1-800-387-0098, or by asking casino staff in person. The casino on Bonin Road in Chelmsford is off limits to anyone trespassed or self-excluded at any Ontario gaming property.
BetGuard, run by iGaming Ontario, is the tool for online play. Ontario's regulated online gambling sites, OLG.ca among them, can all be blocked at once on betguard.ca by anyone 19 or older. Land-based casinos fall outside it.
